Cookie Policy
Cookies, Tracking & Your Choices
What we store on your device, how we track usage of this site, and how you stay in control.
1. The Short Version
2. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as local storage, which save small amounts of information in your browser. In this policy, “cookies” covers all of these.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are required for the website to function and do not need your consent:
- Consent record — remembers whether you accepted or declined cookies, so we do not ask you on every page (kept until you clear your browser data)
- Security and functionality — used to deliver the site securely and remember basic session state
4. Analytics & Session Replay
We use analytics and session replay tools to understand how visitors use our website. When you accept cookies, these tools:
- Set cookies and local storage entries containing a randomly generated identifier, so we can recognise return visits (these typically expire after 12 months)
- Record which pages you visit, how long you stay, and where you came from
- Capture session replays — a reconstruction of your visit showing mouse movement, clicks, scrolling, and the pages you viewed. Typed input is masked and not recorded.
When you decline (or before you choose), no analytics cookies are set and nothing is stored on your device. We still receive anonymous, aggregated usage statistics for the pages viewed during your visit, but these cannot be linked to you or to any future visit, and session replay stays off.
5. Your Choices
A consent banner appears on your first visit. You can accept or decline analytics cookies, and change your mind at any time:
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see your browser's help pages, or the guidance at ico.org.uk. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working properly.
6. Personal Data
Where information collected via cookies identifies you, it is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which also explains your rights under UK GDPR and how to contact us or the ICO.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time — the latest version will always be on this page. Last updated: June 2026.
